Art of Living Yoga: Boat Posture (Navasana)

  1. NavasanaLie on your back; feet together and hands relaxed alongside the body.
  2. Tighten the abdomen by pulling the navel area inward and then upward; keep breathing.
  3. Breathing in, raise the legs and the torso simultaneously up to 45-degree position, keeping the arms and legs straight, arms pointing to the toes.
  4. Hold and keep the abdomen tight. Keep breathing.
  5. Breathing out, release from the posture and rest.
